To nominate a team to participate within our competitions, all of the team players must agree to abide by our BYLAWS and CODES of CONDUCT to help promote this Association to continue in achieving the necessary standards for providing a balanced, discrimation free, friendly and safe Volleyball Sporting environment for its officials, its members and their associated supporting families.
TTGVA ByLaws explain how we adapt some of the FIVB Volleyball rules to best support our local conditions, the conduct of our social competitions and the interests of our members.
Player
responsibilities and general conditions of play have been
incorporated into the TTGVA Bylaws, developed in-conjunction with the FIVB International Volleyball rules,
to provide the rules and guidelines that TTGVA wishes to promote
within its Volleyball competitions.
Any Bylaws changes are notified to members prior to implementation but its the member's responsibility to be familiar and up-to-date with the latest Bylaws and any local TTGVA conditions when may have been applied when participating in our local competitions.
TTGVA Member Protection Policy explains how we expect our members and associated persons to behave and respect each other whilst under or within the boundaries of responsibilities of the Association. This includes:
- Protection of Children
- Harrassment, Discrimination and Bullying
- Inclusive Practises
- Codes of Behaviour
- Privacy
- Social Media
- Reporting and Responding
It is the responsibility of
every member to be aware and abide by our "Member Protection Policy",
covering TTGVA and its Officials, other Teams, other Members and
other people (not necessarily part of TTGVA) in any activities
associated or organised within TTGVA.
It is the responsibility of the nominated captain to ensure good sportsmanship and the general conduct of his/her players on and off the court and that its members abide by these principals of the Association as outlined in the Member Protection Policy.
All players are required to be registered with TTGVA prior to playing in any of its venues.
New players must Register for TTGVA Membership before they are allowed to play.
Registration for TTGVA Membership is free and new players can then come out and try before creating or joining a team.
Only Registered TTGVA Members named on a match Team Sheet can take to the court and play in that match.
All players must be in their team approved uniform before they can play their fourth match with that team.
Tops must be of the same main colour/style differing designer logos are only permitted if they do not exceed 10cm by 5cm.
Any variations of stripes are only acceptable if they match in colour.
Numbers must be between 0-99 inclusive and unique within the team.
Match Fees are to be paid to the Arena Manager prior to the start of the match.
Teams who are more than one week in arrears will not be permitted to play until outstanding monies are paid.
Weekly Team Fee (6-a-side) $60 per match
+ TEAMMO Admin Fee $2 per match
(if paying by TEAMMO)
Team Nomination Fee $70 per season
(paid prior to season commencing)
Late Nomination Fee $10 extra
